Abstract. The article presents data on reproductive qualities and feather-down raw materials with the total yield of feathers, down and feathers and its fractional composition in geese of Obroshyn selection with white plumage. It was found that geese of Obroshyn selection with white plumage of the second group OB-6 outperformed peers OB-4 (group I) in the output of goslings by 4.4%, and respectively higher in egg production by 1.7%, fertilization by 0.9% , preserved by 2.0% and had a higher egg weight by 4.3%. Geese of both groups were characterized by high feather and down productivity. The advantage in the raw materials received at the first plucking from geese of the I group is revealed. It should be noted that a slightly higher percentage of feathers and down, and immature – less. During the second plucking, the amount of down increased almost threefold compared to the first. It should also be noted that higher feather and down raw materials were obtained at the age of 18 weeks in Obroshyn white geese of group I (OB-4) in comparison with group II (OB-6). Geese of this group show a tendency to improve the quality of feather and down raw materials.
Key words: geese, reproductive qualities, egg-laying, feather-down productivity, feathers, down, feather.
